We represent both plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving personal injury matters. Although the main focus of the firm over the years has been defending against personal injury, wrongful death, and healthcare negligence cases we have also represented individuals injured because of medical negligence, unsafe products, employment discrimination, and transportation negligence. The experience of having done both gives us a unique perspective as to the tricks used in litigation. We know how defendants analyze their cases from both a liability and damages perspective and we understand what juries are looking for if a case were to be tried. Tim McVey has had the pleasure of trying over 120 cases to verdict in approximately 32 states. These cases dealt with premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage, medical negligence, employment liability, construction accidents, fire loss, assault and battery, defamation, and auto and trucking accidents. Having been in front of juries that often gives the firm a wealth of knowledge on how to prepare, evaluate and try cases for its clients.
Tim also provides mediation services. In today’s litigation world parties are much more apt to attempt to resolve matters avoiding the stress, cost, and uncertainty of litigation. Having been in the courtroom as much as Tim has, coupled with the fact he has represented both sides in litigation, gives him a unique perspective in talking to both plaintiffs and defendants.
